There is a fee for 107 Euros (130 US$) to process the application.
I tranferred the fee per the official instructions, but did so shortly before my interview at the embassy.
The confirmation did not go through in time, which meant I had to pay again in cash at the embassy.
I now received the confirmation from Roskos Meier (the bank handling the tranfers), which is useless to me.
However, it is perfectly legitimate to transfer the payment fee to another person.
There is no paperwork involved - all I have to do is hand over the certificate to you.
You can check into the feasability of this yourself - I got this recommendation from staf at the embassy.
